When homeowners come to Houzz to find professionals to complete their projects, the Best of Houzz badges offer a marker of credibility, supporting their decision to move forward Andrew Small, Director at Houzz Oak Framed Inspiration “We launched the global Best of Houzz awards programme over a decade ago to highlight the work of the most talented and customer-focused professionals in our industry,” said Andrew Small, Senior Director for Industry Solutions at Houzz. The Customer Service award is based on several factors, including a supplier’s overall rating on Houzz and client reviews submitted during the previous year. These badges help the more than 65 million homeowners and home design enthusiasts who use Houzz globally to identify popular and top-rated home improvement suppliers for their projects. ‘Best of Houzz 2022’ badges appear on winners’ profiles as a sign of their commitment to excellence. Of the 2.7 million active home building, renovation and design industry suppliers around the world on the Houzz platform, only around 3% win the Design award each year. The Design award is presented to suppliers whose work was the most popular amongst the Houzz community – so is based on the level of engagement of our photography of our orangeries and conservatories. Badges are awarded annually in the following three categories: Design, Customer Service and Photography. This is the 10 th anniversary of the global Best of Houzz awards programme. Her team worked closely with Scher to create the new logo. “Our goal was to create a simplified and clean look that better represents our brand today as the only place where you can find everything to design or renovate your home, from inspiration to products to home professionals,” says Tom Hacohen, head of design at Houzz. You will be seeing it on our site and in app stores. The new, brighter green icon, above right, has a distinctive angle that evokes a roofline and reflects our passion for helping people create homes uniquely their own. The design revamps the 3D architectural ‘H’ of our old logo, seen above on the left. Our team worked closely with renowned graphic designer Paula Scher to develop its new look and feel. We’re excited to share our new, simplified Houzz logo which we have started rolling out. Because, just like a home, sometimes a company logo needs a little remodelling. When you open the Houzz app and website, don’t be surprised by the green ‘h’ that looks like a house.
